Generic AI training teaches features. Useful AI education starts with the work someone has to do on Monday morning.

Leave knowing / Apply AI to real work without outsourcing judgment

The training rule

Every role should learn what AI can safely accelerate, what still needs human judgment, and how to check the output. The goal is not a certificate. The goal is real work that becomes measurably better.

Teach the workflow, not the chatbot.

A useful exercise

Learn with one real task.

01

Choose a repeated task from your actual role.

02

Write down how you do it now.

03

Use AI only for the language-heavy or pattern-heavy part.

04

Review the result using the same standard you would use for a colleague.

05

Record what became faster, what became worse, and what should remain human.

Try it

Use AI for

  • Turn long material into decision briefs
  • Pressure-test plans and assumptions
  • Prepare questions for meetings

Keep human

  • Final priorities
  • People decisions
  • Accountability for tradeoffs

Do this today

Give AI a real board or planning document. Ask for the three decisions hiding inside it, the evidence for each, and the strongest argument against your preferred choice.
